Who's This Course NOT For

This course isn't for you if...

1. You're not willing to put in the time and effort to make 1 video per week during the 6 weeks.

2. You're looking for a magic bullet that'll get your channel to grow without any effort. There's no secret here. It's just about putting in the work, doing it consistently, and stacking the deck in your favour in whatever way you can.

3. You're hoping that starting a YouTube channel will be a get-rich-quick scheme. Again, that's not how it works. There are no shortcuts.

4. You're looking for a guaranteed path to 10k, or 100k, or 1M subscribers. There are no guarantees in this game. It's like signing up for a writing course and expecting to have 1M readers per month for your blog, or 100,000 sales of your book. That's not how it works. We'll do our best to teach you the systems and processes that have worked for us and our students, but we can't 'guarantee' any specific result.

Having said all that, one thing we can guarantee is that if you create useful videos, publish 1-2 times per week, and do this for 2 years, your life will change. We can't put a number on it (no one can), but if you can stick with this for 2+ years, you'll learn useful skills, you'll generate 'passive' income, and you'll make friends with amazing people from all over the world. Live Session with Ali - Monday 1600 - 1800 GMT

Every Monday we’ll have the first of two weekly live sessions with me from 1600 - 1800 GMT. These'll be 90 minutes of teaching followed by 30 minutes for Q&A.

Live Session with Elizabeth - Tuesday 1600 - 1800 GMT

On Tuesday there’ll be a live session from Elizabeth from 1600 - 1800 GMT. This’ll build on the week's key themes and dive into the weekly themes usually using other YouTuber case studies.

Guest Workshops - Wednesday 1600 - 1900 GMT

Guest Workshops will be on Wednesday and last 1- 2 hours. Times will vary but they’ll all start between 1600 and 1900 GMT. You'll be able to check exact times on the course calendar.

Live Session with Ali - Thursday 1600 - 1800 GMT

We’ll have the second live session with me on Thursday at the same time (1600 - 1800 GMT). This’ll follow the same format - 90 minute of teaching followed by 30 minutes Q&A.

Friday Panels - Friday 1600 - 1800 GMT

Friday Panels will be live Q&A panel events with me and members of the team plus some returning alumni who’ve had success like John Coogan who's now got over 140k subscribers now.

Drop-In Surgeries - Weekdays 1100 & 1900 GMT

Every weekday during the course, there’ll be two drop-in sessions for you to hop on an open call and ask a question about Youtube, your own channel or the course more generally. These’ll be run by one of the PTYA team and will be open for an hour at 1100 and 1900 GMT every day for the duration of the course.

Best Video Session - Wednesday 1900 GMT (Week 3 & 5)

In Week 3 and Week 5, we’ll invite a select few students who’ve made the best videos in the previous couple of weeks to have a private small group coaching call with me. You'll have the chance to get my thoughts on anything in a smaller group than the larger live sessions.

1k Sub Club - Tuesday 1900 GMT

These are private weekly sessions for channels with 1K+ subscribers to brainstorm and strategise solutions for your YouTube problems while getting to connect with other creators of your size. You’ll be divided into 3 small groups:

A group for those with 1k - 10k subs,

A group for those with 10k - 50k subs,

A group for those with 50k+ subs.
